The low light lenses are an absolute game changer. Light enough to be used in any overcast/ rainy, dawn/ dusk situation as well as great performance when the sun is high and bright!

By far my favorite lens and frame!!! These are low light lenses that can be worn all day. They not only shine in low light conditions but also help bring out the contrast when fishing over dark grassy bottom. The Refuge frames are by far the most comfortable frames of any shades I’ve ever worn. They fit just right… not too tight, not too loose. This is the perfect combination.

After running through multiple pairs of Costa’s in a year I realized it was time for a change. I stopped in at RCI Optics over the summer to check out their glasses and get a few questions answered. The guys there were awesome and didn’t pressure me into purchasing anything, they let me try on almost every pair of glasses they had (multiple times). They told me about their business from start to beginning and how most of the other fishing glasses have gone to China and aren’t worth a dime. I loved the small, family business feel of the shop. Ended up walking out with a pair of the Refuges because I wear my glasses 24/7 and wanted a good pair for fishing, but also a stylish pair for everyday wearing. So far, 7 months later, I am nothing but pleased. If you’re trying to decide whether or not to purchase a pair of RCI Optics, I cannot recommend it enough.

What can I say, this was the frame and lens that sold me on RCI! The L25 lens Superior to anything else on the market today! I put these on and forget that I’m even wearing them! That’s how comfortable the Refuge are! This lens allows me to really make out any contour or contrast over sandy or grassy bottoms whether I’m fishing inshore or freshwater applications. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve spotted fish before the guide on the platform even sees a thing, and we are talking to 40+ feet out! All the other big name companies wish they could create a lens that function half as well as these do!
